A COFFEE STORY
Everyone has a coffee story. Even if they don’t necessarily like the drink. Our owner Steve’s goes back to when he was a kid, before he and his wife started TCE in New Jersey.. trying to impress his parents by seeing who could make their coffee better every chance he and his siblings got. Whether it was at home or in their office on Telfair in Augusta, Georgia, it was on! It was just Folgers, but it was passion to serve someone who meant the world to them, that drove them to it. Whether it was working at Starbucks, or a small farmers market booth, for a shop in Hickory, NC for a while. Each time was a learning process and we’ve gone further into the rabbit hole with this culture of learning and of service.
